Chaos happens. Complete confusion and disorder. Sometimes we cause it, sometimes others cause it. Sometimes, it just happens at no fault to anyone. Storms come. Life happens. I’ve had a lot of chaos in my life over the past year; a little of each kind to be honest. Out of it, moments of intense pure clarity showed up. Some of the fog would dissipate and it was like I had a clear vision of the path I needed to take to get me through the chaos. Things that were not as they appeared were exposed. My intuition was proven right time after time. Through it all, I’ve learned so much about myself and learned to trust myself more. Maybe without the chaos, the clarity would not of come. Maybe.
That is where this abstract collection came from. I had to get what I was feeling on canvas. The chaos, the clarity, the moments I felt peace, the moments I wanted to fly away, the moments I felt like I was drowning and the moments I learned who I really was. I don’t have it all figured out but I’m learning to navigate the ups and downs. These pieces are reminders that the chaos may come, but so will the clarity.
